Kraft Power is pleased to offer the NEW Kohler emission-certified gensets. These new models include a closed-loop fuel system and catalyst to reduce emissions and meet the EPA requirements right from the factory!

These upgraded gensets use a closed loop feedback system, allowing for careful monitoring of the tail pipe emissions. This system uses an oxygen sensor located downstream of the combustion chamber to detect changes in your oxygen level, adjusting the air/fuel ratio accordingly. A system without such a feedback loop is referred to as an open loop system and does not allow tight control of the air/fuel ratio.

For customers in areas which require emissions levels below those of the federal government, (Massachusetts as a prime example), Kraft Power continues to supply non-compliant engines with exhaust catalysts designed for the required emissions levels, which fit within the Kohler unit enclosure.
